i downloaded ventrillo server and tried it out but my friends can't connect
can it only be used on lan?

i tried to fill in evrything in the ini folder. i can connect.my friends cant

i'm 14 and i'm from belgium so i hope my english is good enough.

i got a router maybe thats the trouble but i dont think so, my friend downloaded
the server too and he got the same ip's like me????

i had same problem on ts server that i could connect but nobody else could

pls can u reply i realy need to get this server up and running. :o

Do you have a router/firewall? If so, you need to forward port 3784 for the internal IP your server is running on. Usually a 192.168.*.* number.

i dont have a firewall and my ip = 10.0.0.42 :(

and whats forwarding a port srry but i dont realy understand forward port
i now the word but not in this context.

Do you have a router? 10.0.0.* seems like a router assigned IP.
