Redirecting from an web address

I'm trying to redirect from an web server. I tried just inputing the ip address of my server without the http:// but it gives me a connection error. How should setup my redirecting from an website? ty

Are you trying to point a domain at a specific IP or are you trying to create an HTML Link to allow people to click on that link and it will load/take them to your Ventrilo server?

no I have a webhosting from aplus. I'm trying to setup an sub domain redirect to the server I have running on this computer. When I go into my redirect, it requires an http:// link. I tried to put my ip address in there without the http://, but it won't redirect to my server. Help?

Use your DNS configuration and add an A entry.
