i have OS X Panther running on my machine i am a MAC person but own a PC purely for gaming. I could host on my MAC 24/7 very easily if it were to work. I stopped by the ventrilo site the other day and noticed that there is a MAC server version out, which i downloaded and tried putting up. I recive this error in the "Terminal" when i open up the ventrilo_srv:
"Unable to open configuration file 'ventrilo_srv.ini'.
ERROR: Unable to read configuration data. Exiting.
logout
[Processs completed]"
i looked thro my ini file and nothing seems out of place. i downloaded the PC version for the server and it up and runs fine. i have the same set up in the .ini file for both the PC and Mac just the Mac gives me that error and the PC one runs fine and i can connect and everything. Help would be appreciated thank you.
