password setup for users

i was trying to setup some form of password protection for each user, and was wondering if anyone would post some exp of the .usr file with the correct user/pw setup so that i can go off of that.

the server that i have setup isnt asking for a password even though i have both passwords setup in the .ini

i am useing the newest server version and client version for this install.

Log into your Vent server as an Admin and use the Client Interface to add the users. It's the safest way and you don't need to know the .USR file syntax to do it.

Afterward, if you are curious, you can open the file to check out the layout.

Oh. ALso, your Auth variable isn't set correctly if you are not being asked for a password. See the server docs on how to set it.
