Streaming Music Problem - Need help!

ok the PC I am using is just an extra PC that does nothing more than burn movies and other extra stuff that I do not do on my main PC. What I am trying to do is use Itunes along with Ventrilo and run a music bot in ventrilo. Basically all this will do is have a bot acct logged on in my vent server and streams Itunes through it so it plays steady music non stop.

The PC runs windows xp also

I loaded it all up and caught an error and heres a screenshot of that error.

What it does is I start Itunes then load ventrilo. I go to log in with the bot acct with the settings in the screenshot above and it shuts the sound off and gives an error. Itunes will still be playing and the bot acct with still show that its playing the music but nothing comes out. Anyone have a clue whats going on?

first, set the outbound amplifier to 0 and use the line volume slider in the mixer section. (will use less cpu)

is the sound driver up to date?

if that doesn't work then disable the mixer section, clik the recording button and set the recording option to 'stereo mix'

still no luck, its wierd, I will be sitting in vent with my main acct with my music bot, the bot will be lit up as if noise is coming through vent but its silent, and cant hear anything on my main acct and I cant even hear it over my speakers on that PC, but when I go into the ventrilo options the music starts coming through my speakers, and when I click ok to make the option page go away the music stops.

any ideas?

Still doesnt work after the update, could it be the sound card maybe?

try setting the mixer to none
open recording input and select your input device.
